In 1989, Jacques Seysses, founder of Domaine Dujac, and Aubert de Villaine, along with their friend Michel Macaux, sought new vineyards in southern France, convinced that the conditions for producing exceptional wines were ideal. Drawing from their experience in Burgundy, they believed that the quality of great wines primarily depends on the vineyard. Thus, they decided to focus on the renewal and care of the vines, recognizing the importance of the vineyard for producing high-quality wines.
From the beginning, Domaine Triennes invested in an ambitious replanting program aimed at recreating a healthy and sustainable vineyard, adapted to local growing conditions. The management of the vines is done naturally and always in full harmony with the environment, applying innovative agricultural practices, such as organic farming, to ensure the sustainability of the vineyards and the quality of the grapes.
The Triennes winery hosts 7,000 hectoliters of wine in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. This expansion allows for the application of advanced winemaking techniques, ensuring excellent conditions for hygienic and quality production. The modern winery, combined with improved bottling and order preparation facilities, enables the production of wines distinguished by their elegance, finesse, and natural freshness.
