"Quality wines are an ideology, you have to like them and have an audience. They are like the friends of good theater, good music, few and good... and wine is also a cultural event."
Thanasis Parparousis
The Parparousis Winery was founded in 1974 by the oenologist Thanasis Parparousis and Vasso's wife, with the aim of producing quality bottled wines.
The second generation actively participates, with Erifilli and Dimitra, in viticulture, winemaking and production.
The winery is located in Bozaitika, Patras, where the vinification, maturation, aging and bottling take place. New French barrels are used for maturation and aging.
The majority of the wines are produced from privately owned vineyards in Movri, Achaia, and Bozaitika, Patras.
The primary goal is to highlight and promote the Greek varieties whose dynamics allow them to join the global wine palette.
The varieties cultivated are the white varieties Sideritis, Assyrtiko, Moschato Rio Patron and the red Cabernet Sauvignon, Agiorgitiko and Mavrodafni.

Organic wine from the Sideritis variety, grown in privately owned vineyards in Western Achaia. Classic white vinification is used and the wine retains its fresh and cool character. Bright in appearance, with a greenish-yellow color. Expressive, rich, and intensely fruity and floral aromas dominate the nose and palate. The lemony sensation in the mouth completes the whole and lingers until the pleasant aftertaste.

Organic white wine from the Assyrtiko and Athiri varieties, grown in the estate's own vineyards, on the edge of a eucalyptus forest in Western Achaia. Classic white vinification is carried out, followed by five months of ageing on the lees. The result is an expressive wine with a bright pale yellow colour and green highlights. Charming and fresh on the nose, with soft aromas of citrus, flowers, white-fleshed fruits, and a peppery character. Full-bodied on the palate, with fruity flavors dominated by mango, sparkling acidity with light notes of saltiness and minerality on the finish.

Single-varietal Assyrtiko from the estate's own vineyards in Western Achaia. A classic white winemaking process is carried out, followed by six months of aging on fine lees. The result is a wine with a bright golden-yellow color and an expressive bouquet of aromas. Delicate citrus aromas and floral notes dominate the nose and palate, continuing to the full-bodied mouthfeel, with remarkable acidity. A pleasant finish that lasts.

Organic rosé wine from the Sideritis variety, grown in the estate's own vineyard in Western Achaia. It is characterized by an open, charming rosé color and exudes delicate aromas of flowers and forest fruits. The same aromatic palette is found on the palate, with a pleasant taste, crisp acidity, and a metallic sensation that elevates it.

It comes from the Agiorgitiko (75%) and Mavrodaphne (25%) grape varieties grown in Gymno Nemea and Western Achaia, respectively. It undergoes classic red vinification, extraction for 20 days, followed by aging in French oak barrels. Bright, with an attractive deep red color and ruby highlights. Complex aromatic profile, with notes of violet, ripe cherry, spices, and vanilla dominating. Full-bodied, round, and balanced, with velvety tannins and a pleasant, lingering aftertaste.

From Agiorgitiko grape variety, as indicated by the Designation of Origin, cultivated in vineyards in Gymno Nemea, at an altitude of 600m. A classic red vinification is carried out, followed by aging for two years in French oak barrels. It is characterized by a bright, deep red color with ruby highlights. Expressive on the nose, with a complex aromatic profile dominated by notes of ripe red fruits, spices, and vanilla. Full-bodied and rounded on the palate, with velvety tannins and the aromas from the nose lingering into the charming, smooth finish.

A blend of Agiorgitiko (95%), Mavrodaphne (3%), and Mavroudia (2%) varieties. After vinification, the wine is aged in oak barrels for two years. Attractive appearance, with a deep red color and ruby highlights. Expressive aromatic profile, with notes of red fruits, smoke, spices, and vanilla undertones. Full and complex on the palate, with a round body, velvety tannins, and a long fruity and peppery finish.

Deep red color, aromas of herbs and spices, full body, balanced acidity, velvety full bodied tannins, pleasant aftertaste.

Naturally sweet wine from Muscat of small berries cultivated in privately owned vineyards in Proastio (Bozaitika) Patras. It comes from sun-dried grapes and undergoes classic white vinification for its production. Charming at first glance, it impresses with its bright, golden color. Complex and expressive both on the nose and the palate. Notes of citrus, ripe white-fleshed fruits, and honey prevail, in a rounded and balanced ensemble with sweetness taking the lead and acidity balancing it. Rich, with a long finish.

It comes from the Mavrodaphne of Patras (75%) and Corinthian raisin (25%) varieties and is produced like all fortified wines. First, classic red vinification takes place, which is interrupted by the addition of wine distillate produced by the winery itself. The high alcohol content and fermented sugars that remain in the wine give it its structure and sweetness. This is followed by aging in French oak barrels for 21 years, acquiring the complexity that characterizes it. Bright in appearance, with an attractive purple color, it exudes aromas of dried fruit and sweet spices, mainly cinnamon and cloves, with notes of chocolate and vanilla in the background. Spicy yet silky, with fine tannins balancing the sweetness. Elegant, balanced, and complex, with depth and exuberance.
