The Domaine Asseray is a family winery with deep roots in the heart of the
Loire Valley, just 15 kilometres south of the city of Angers. It is located between the
renowned AOC Coteaux de l'Aubance and Anjou-Villages-Brissac wine zones,
offering a unique terroir that is clearly reflected in its wines.
Its history dates back to 1931, when the estate first operated as a mixed farm. Since 1983, the Asseray family has dedicated itself exclusively to vine growing and wine production, transforming the estate into a modern and innovative winery. Today, the
fourth generation is in charge of the estate, with Emmanuel and Aurélie Asseray passionately carrying on the family tradition.
The Estate spans some 570 acres, and is cultivated with respect for the
environment and the natural heritage of the region. The High Environmental Value (HVE) level 3 certification is proof of the family's commitment to sustainable agriculture and biodiversity conservation. The wines of Domaine Asseray stand out for their quality, having been honoured with numerous awards in major international competitions such as the Concours Général Agricole. They are wines that reflect not only the unique terroir of the Loire, but and the dedication of a family that lovingly cultivates its land.

The grapes come from 35-year-old vineyards in clay-gravel soils, which offer ideal ripening conditions for Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. After the mechanical harvest, the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature. An enjoyable semi-sweet wine, with a smooth and fruity character.
It has a bright pink colour with salmon highlights. Expressive on the nose, with aromas of strawberry, blackcurrant and caramel dominating. In the mouth, light, balanced and with nice acidity.
