In 1968, Warren Bogle and his son, Chris Bogle, planted the first 20 acres of vineyards at Home Ranch. For a decade, the family grew grapes for other wineries before launching their own wine in 1978. The original winery, which was built in 1979, remains in operation to this day.
The 6th generation of the family, led by Warren Bogle, Jody Bogle, and Ryan Bogle, continues to manage the winery, maintaining the family tradition of producing high-quality wines. The family cultivates over 2,000 acres of vineyards and is committed to sustainability and environmental protection.
Bogle's winemakers use traditional techniques that are replicated in few wineries of its size. From the hand-stirring of Chardonnay to the aging of red wines in small oak barrels, they know that this approach helps each wine reach its full potential. The barrel room houses over 95,000 small, traditional oak barrels where each of the red wines ages.
